North Macon is now home to a new dog aquatics center. People can bring in their hounds to splash and swim at Fur Fix Aquatics Wellness Center for Dogs. It opened in April. Owner Patti Jones says she’s been working with animals all of her adult life through local rescues and Central Georgia CARES, a nonprofit animal welfare organization.

Azzi, the beautiful Australian Shepherd suffered from tremendous arthritis and the family was just before making a difficult decision when they found Fur Fix.

10 year old Rascal suffered a traumatic injury and lost the use of all his legs. He was depressed and had given up. Fur Fix worked with him about 5 months and was thrilled when he started walking.

10 year old Rascal spent about five months in intense work at Fur Fix after a traumatic injury leaving him with no use of any of his legs. He now has use of all four legs and is back running, playing and loving life.

Koda was lame for 18 months even after surgery, laser treatment and physical therapy. Her quality of life was impacted as she was no longer able to participate in family camping and hiking activities. Then her family found Fur Fix.

Koda had significant improvement after only 5 sessions at Fur Fix. She was able to put weight on her leg that she had been unable to do for 18 months. She was then able to join in on activities she loves like camping and hiking with her family.
